The Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Baptism washes away original sin and incorporates one into the body of Christ. It is received only once in one's lifetime; it is not a repeatable moment. Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, Baptism is the Church’s way of celebrating and enacting the embrace of God.
English baptisms at our parish are on the third Sunday of the month at 3:00pm, and Spanish baptism are on the fourth Sunday at the same time. Arrangements must be made in the rectory six weeks in advance. Instructions are on the same day at 2:30pm. Parents and godparents must attend. Godparents must be fully initiated Catholics who practice their faith. Call parish office for questions.
